We’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and full of positive energy to join our Health and Care team as a Support Worker. If you’re the type of person who enjoys helping others feel safe and supported, you could make a real difference in someone’s life. No formal care experience? That’s okay. If you’re patient, thoughtful, and can make someone feel at ease, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be a lifeline for people who may be feeling vulnerable after a hospital stay. Whether it’s helping with shopping, checking in with a phone call, or simply being a friendly face, your support will help people live more independently. It’s more than just a job - it’s a chance to give back, grow your skills, and be part of a team that truly cares.

What will a day in the life of a Service Support Worker involve?

  • Providing practical and emotional support, including welfare calls, shopping, and home visits.
  • Supporting adults after a hospital stay to help them recover safely at home.
  • Responding to referrals from clinicians and community health professionals.
  • Assessing needs and following a personalised support plan for each service user.
To be a successful Service Support Worker, what will you need?
  • A kind, calm and confident approach with great people skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
  • Basic IT skills and a commitment to following procedures.
