About The Role

Senior Community Partnership Manager

Location: UK Flexible location (Hybrid, home and office)
Salary: £52,000 per annum (plus ILW, if residing & working in London) (DOE)
Hours: 35 per week, flexible
Contract: Permanent
 

Could you lead the development of our regional corporate strategy and drive meaningful growth in SME partnerships?

Could you inspire and equip our relationship fundraising teams to excel in both new business development and account management?

Could you act as the key link to our National Corporate Partnerships team, ensuring strong collaboration and effective information sharing?

What will a day in the life of a Senior Community Partnership Manager involve?

  • Develop and deliver a regional SME corporate fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals, with a strong focus on proactively identifying, cultivating, and securing new corporate partners.
  • Drive new corporate activity by building and managing a robust pipeline of prospective SME partners, creating compelling propositions and approaches to win new support.
  • Lead on strategic planning, proposals, and the ongoing development of this specialist fundraising function.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a small team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to achieve ambitious income targets and deliver high-quality fundraising activity.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from new partner acquisition into effective relationship management, maximising long-term value.
  • Build and maintain accurate donor pipeline data, embedding CRM best practice across the team.
  • Develop and monitor financial frameworks, budgets, and income forecasts.
  • Work flexibly, including travel across the UK and occasional evening/weekend commitments.

To be a successful Business Development Manager, what will you need?

  • A proven track record of growing income through regional or SME corporate partnerships (typically up to £100k), with demonstrable success in securing new partners.
  • Strong new business development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into lasting partnerships.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive, tailored proposals and deliver engaging pitches to a range of audiences.
  • Significant experience managing the full business development cycle, including developing and overseeing partnership pipelines (both personally and through others).
  • Experience building and sustaining strong relationships at all levels, including senior stakeholders, to deliver collaborative and impactful partnerships.
  • Experience within a charity corporate fundraising role or a comparable sales/business development position in the private sector.
