About The Role

Psychosocial Coordinator
Location: UK Flexible 
Salary: £26,488 per annum based on 35 hours per week, plus £3,344 inner London weighting if applicable 
Contract: Permanent

Could play a key role in ensuring the emotional wellbeing of our workforce is fully supported?

We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic Psychosocial Coordinator to join our friendly Psychosocial and Mental Health team. As part of the team, you’ll be coordinating support for all UK Psychosocial Practitioners, including administrative support for quality assurance and data collection within relevant work streams within the Psychosocial Team.

You’ll be helping ensure our workforce is in the best position to support others and help people in crisis. Our Psychosocial and Mental health team is a small team all connected by the same common goal of helping people.

What does a day in the life of a Psychosocial Coordinator look like?

You will be responsible for organising and maintaining the collection of evidence, information and documentation relating to psychosocial support and relevant work streams, and for providing other services to support the efficient working of the Psychosocial Team.

You will work closely with the Head of Psychosocial, Psychosocial Manager and Practitioners to:

  • Develop and maintain systems and procedure to ensure that information, evidence and documentation is accurate, accessible and up to date.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in supporting a variety of work streams that the Psychosocial team lead on including support for workshops and research.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure all documents produced are error-free and meet all requirements.
  • Provide advice and support on issues related to information management and learning opportunities.

What does it take to be a successful Psychosocial Coordinator?

  • You have a demonstrable understanding of information management and previous experience in an information management role. 
  • You have excellent communication skills, that include influencing skills and the ability to communicate across various levels and teams.
  • Organisation is one of your key skills. You take a methodical approach to the way you work and have strong attention to detail.
  • You have a flexible approach to your working style and are able to self-reflect on your performance to continually improve the way you operate.
  • Having previous experience of working in a mental health related service would be an advantage
  • You’re a team player and have experience working with others to achieve a common goal. You can also work independently when required and manage your own workload.
  • Organising and planning your workloads and tasks to meet competing deadlines is something you are confident with.
