About The Role
Philanthropy Coordinator
Location: Flexible, with regular travel to our London Head Office
Contract type: Permanent
Part Time: 10 Hours per week
Salary Range: £24,868 - £26,000 pro rata for part time (plus inner London weighting, £3,344, if applicable) per annum
Fundraising is critical to enabling our services that help people in crisis in the UK and overseas. The Transformational Giving Team work with individual philanthropists, trusts, and foundations to secure much-needed funding. You'll be at the centre of our team, assisting us to build long-term, strategic partnerships that make a transformational difference to communities across the globe. Interested? Please read on.....
A day in the life of a Philanthropy Coordinator will involve:
•
You’ll help to ensure processes and systems are effective and efficient
•
Field queries, handle financial reconciliation, and aid the delivery of donor communications and events
•
You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including relationship managers, donor intermediaries, and internal departments
This role would be perfect for someone looking to start or progress a career in fundraising, administration or the charity sector. You’ll benefit from supportive, on-the-job training plus structured internal and external development opportunities.
This is a job share with an existing part-time Philanthropy Coordinator. Our team are currently taking part in a 4-day working week trial. We’ll offer flexibility to make your working hours fit comfortably with your work / life balance.
To be a successful Philanthropy Coordinator, you’ll:
•
Be an assertive, clear, and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
•
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications and other IT skills
•
Build strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
•
Be organised and able to manage your workload within deadlines
•
Have an interest in fundraising, relationship management, and/or communications
•
Work effectively on your own and as part of a team
